These paintings—Fishing Village in the Evening Glow and Wild Geese Descending to Sandbar—depict two of the Eight Views of Xiao and Xiang Rivers. Each composition is asymmetrically arranged—one weighted to the right, the other to the left—creating a sense of balance when displayed together. The right-hand scene shows a fishing boat returning with its catch beneath a sky tinged with the red glow of sunset behind distant mountains. The left-hand painting features geese flying in from afar. In the foreground, a lofty scholar and his young attendant are shown crossing a bridge. Tree branches are rendered with crab-claw strokes, while the trees atop the mountain ridges are shown with fine and slender needles.

Exhibition period June 10, 2025. – July 7, 2025.
