Sub-theme1
These books are copies of the revised edition of the Gyojang, initially compiled in eleventh-century Goryeo. The Gyojang is a compilation of exegeses and commentaries of Buddhist scriptures authored by Uicheon, State Preceptor Daegak of Goryeo. The Gangyeongdogam published Buddhist scriptures in both Classical Chinese and Korean. It frequently selected the Gyojang for its Chinese publications, since those versed in Buddhist teachings favored Uicheon’s commentaries over others.
