This is a geographical appendix included in the Sejong Jangheon daewang sillok (Annals of Great King Sejong with Stately Excellence), compiled in 1454 as part of Joseon’s early efforts to establish a systematic administrative structure. Based on surveys conducted between 1424 and 1432 during King Sejong’s reign, the appendix records a wide range of geographical and cultural information for 328 counties and districts across the eight provinces of Korea.
Notably, it includes detailed listing of local porcelain workshops (jagiso) and earthenware workshops (dogiso). A total of 139 porcelain workshops were documented across 120 locations nationwide. This official publication served as an important reference in the implementation of the ceramic tribute system during the early Joseon period.
