These two vessels exemplify the refined maturity of stamped decoration achieved in the first half of the fifteenth century. On the maebyeong, the lower body features inlaid lotus petals reminiscent of late Goryeo counterparts, while the main decoration on the body is rendered solely through stamping— demonstrating the transition from inlay to stamped decoration. The bottle is densely adorned with stamped design, displaying remarkable attention to detail even in the smallest areas. Made from a clay body similar to that of celadon and coated in a transparent, pale bluish-gray glaze, this work stands as one of the finest examples of stamped buncheong ware, exuding a fresh and vibrant aesthetic.
